Warburtons takes over The Grocer
The Warburtons team virtually ‘took over’ the 27th February issue of The Grocer. The launch event to promote Warburtons' new range of Bagged Snacks generated coverage on the front cover, while ChippidyDooDaa and SnackaDoodle were discussed at length by editor Adam Leyland in his leader column.
This coupled with two other separate pieces appearing later in the magazine, spanning nearly two pages meant flagship coverage for a very happy client. The next week's issue (6th March) saw a further four page spread appearing as a best practice case study on NPD. The equivalent advertising cost to date is almost £80,000 in just The Grocer alone!

Kick off with UB
Last week, the whole of the office was talking about football. No, not the latest on the John Terry and Wayne Bridge affair, but Publicasity HQ was abuzz with the launch of United Biscuits’ summer of football activity. A 110% attendance from press meant that UB could show off its latest promotions on McCoy’s, KP Nuts and Jaffa Cakes to a packed audience.
After the launch, those attending feasted on pizza, guzzled beer and saw England come from behind to record a pharaoh victory against Egypt. A Fifa 10 challenge saw the journalists showing off their skills to grab a football shirt of their choice.
Zolfo Cooper appoints Publicasity as PR partner
Zolfo Cooper has taken on Publicasity with a remit to position its Leisure Corporate Finance team. At the heart of the campaign will be some propriety research that will inform the Leisure industry about consumer behaviours once Publicasity launches it. Zolfo Cooper is based in the City and is the leading independent Restructuring and Corporate Finance practice outside the “Big 4”.

Cooking up an amazing x163 ROI to celebrate Chinese New Year!
Publicasity was tasked with establishing the Ken Hom NutriWok Kit as the ‘must-have’ wok for Chinese New Year and healthy eating.
Using the Chinese New Year as a seasonal hook to raise awareness with the target audience of 25 -60 year old foodies and those looking for new and fun ways to eat healthily, Publicasity implemented a hard working product placement press office campaign to secure the NutriWok in key media within seasonal Chinese New Year and Valentine’s pages. A targeted media sell in was conducted using the recipe book as additional collateral to encourage the media to feature the product.
The results spoke for themselves and included three double page spread recipe features in Hello! , Woman’s Own and Your Home magazine which also featured a front page splash. Over 10 million consumers were reached through £300,000 worth of media delivering an ROI of x163!
